Notes |
- Per Jack Curtis (John V. Curtis my father--son of Earl Curtis) and Glenn Curtis, this Bill Curtis inherited a little money from Arthur (Art) Curtis his uncle. At the time is was alot during depression, but not really much. His Uncle Art was a bachelor who was a rail road conductor that had moved and lived in El Paso Texas. Art left almost all his estate to a church (the Seventh Day Adventist).
Per daughter of "Wil" Curtis, Mary Jo, Wil was born in Clinton TN near Oak Ridge. This puts Fred P. Curtis is TN in late 1890's and it should be noted that Fred P's brother John C. Curtis was in Alabama at this time, since that is where Earl Curtis was born in 1894.
