Note that this was pursuant to a land warrant originally issued to Richard Caswell who was a Governor of NC. A close friend of Richard Caswell and a NC cabinet member with Richard Caswell named Glasgow issued the land pursuant to the assigned warrant. see 1806 power of attorney filed by one of three sons of Richard Caswell, that was filed in Sullivan County TN in 1806, directs a law suit against Glasgow to recover the value of similar land granted to William's brother Charles Colyer in limestone cove, that the power of attorney claims was illegal. Years after Richard Caswell death, his estate is trying to recover assigned land warrants. See the 1806 power of attorney under Charles Colyer born 1757.	William Colyar

Within this deed, it says that the transfer includes the lead mines, known as Colyar Mines that was on the property.
