Her Father Fred Percival Curtis and Grandfather John Thurston Curtis had adjoining farms about 1.5 miles south between what is not hwy 27 and the railroad tracks. Total acreage between the two farms was 300 acres. Fred sold in the late 1880's and evidently moved in to Somerset. | |
