- Mrs. Tuttle in her work, stated that Mary Moore's father was Andrew Jackson Moore and Mother Lucinda Lawton. Anne Townsend of Anne Townsend [firstname.lastname@example.org] 7/22/03 states that First: Mary was not the daughter of Andrew Jackson Moore as Helen had stated in her book. Andrew Jackson Moore b 1814 would hardly have been old enough to have been the father of Mary b 1825.
Fact: Andrew Jackson Moore was her half brother, his mother was Elizabeth
Curtis, Sylvanus Moore's first wife. Further I don't find any immediate relationship between Elizabeth Curtis & James Curtis.
Elizabeth had a brother, James L Curtis, b 1788; died 1810; b Curtis
