- McCULLOCH, DONALD LOGAN "DON," passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family on April 13, 2013.
He shared 55 years of marriage with his wife, Sara Denny McCulloch. He is also survived by sons, Crews McCulloch and Logan McCulloch; daughter, Leslie Zaricki; son-in-law, Steve Zaricki; brother, James McCulloch; sister-in-law, Dixie McCulloch; grandchildren, Morgan McCulloch, Gabriel Vanegas, Sarah Zaricki and Kim Zaricki; and niece and nephews, Judy McCulloch, J. Clarke McCulloch, Mark McCulloch, Rob Littlefield and D. Todd Littlefield.
He will rest at Cave Hill Cemetery beside his father, Charles C. McCulloch; mother, Gertrude V. McCulloch; and brother, Charles C. (Sonny) McCulloch, Jr.
Don was a graduate of Centre College and a Korean War era Navy veteran who served as the Executive Officer of the USS Albatross. He retired as President of Dehler Bros. Industrial Supply. He found joy in being a loving grandfather and will forever be known as "The Tooth Decaitor" for his jovial post-brushing inspections with flashlight and magnifying glass during sleepovers at "PaPa and Deedee's". Our family is ever grateful for the love we share and all our supportive friends. We ask that remembrances be in the form of gifts to Hosparus or Golden Retriever Rescue (GRRAND).
Per his wishes, a private family gathering will serve as a memorial to his life, laughter and love.
