This is testimony of family friend Sarah Warden on behalf of Grizzelda (Grizzy) Colyer , wife of John, in connection with application for Widows pension in 1844. Her revolutionary war veteran husband, had died in 1826. Note mention of oldest son, named William.
  		1932 National Archives letter to Mrs. Scott of Frankfort KY re: Revolutionary War record of John Colyer born 1744. Mentions Grizzy, his wife, and William oldest son. Also mentions of Pulaski and Rockcastle county Richard and Stephen Colyer.
