- Somerset, Ky journal July 2, 1920
Quote:
Mr. Nathaniel Colyer, a former Pulaskian now a resident of Houston,
Texas, is
on a visit to friends and relatives here. Mr. Colyer is teaching in a
business college at Houston and is doing nicely. He has been away from
Somerset, Ky. about twenty years, but always makes a yearly visit to his
old home.
He is quite a booster for his home town.
- Per review of 1920 federal census for Texas, in Harris county, it shows Nathaniel and "Dena" Colyer living with 3 youngsters, ages 12 to 25, all of whom are black. It shows no children. The 1910 census shows Nathaniel and Dena and no children.
