  		1874 Pulaski County Property Tax Colyers Various Colyer property East Pulaski County Pitman Creek etc . Notice that Bluford(Buford) and Rebecca Colyer are next to the Haynes property that likely is current day Haynes Cemetery in Jugornot area of Pulaski County in Jugornot Hollow. Notice that on this 1874 list, it shows Charles Colyer (same as 1873 showing as John G Colyer which encourages my guess that his full name was Charles John Granade Colyer). Also note Alexander Colyer with about 500 acres that I guess is land currently all woods that is owned next to old Colyer/Warren Farm on Pitman Creek) later records shows next to Warren and Allen farm(current at Pitman creek and hwy 192) and next to Keeny property reflected on Civil War Map of Burnside this website.

  		1848 Pulaski KY lastwill John Jasper to Rebecca Kirtley Colyer Notice a prohibition on the sale of slaves, but in 1855, Bluford and Rebecca sell inherited 8 year old slave.
  		1854 Pulaski County deed: Rebecca Colyer to Wait inherited interest in Somerset town acreage lot on Sinking Creek inherited from her grandfather, John Jasper is transfered from Rebecca Kirtley Colyer(whose mother was a Jasper) to Cyrenius Wait. This may have been the acreage that became Wait's hill at the end of South Main St, upon which Cyrenius Wait is buried in the old cemetery.
  		Rebecca Kirtley genealogy Shows why grandfather John Jasper Sr named her as only grandchild in lastwill. Apparently her mother, who was John Jasper's daughter, died young and Grandfather took over effective guardianship. Rebecca's father, remarries and moves to Missouri and has new family.

  		1895 Rebecca Colyer to Jugornot school Rebecca Colyer (Wife of Bluford) deed to Jugornot School. Trustees of school district include her sons William Memes Colyer and Bluford Kirtley Colyer. The school lot is next to the Colyer family cemetery where she is likely buried. The cemetery is designated as the Steward-Colyer cemetery on findagrave.com Status: Located
  		1919 deed trace Bluford Colyer/John Colyer land to Edwards This is believed to be original land grants to John Colyer beginning in 1808. It goes from John Colyer to son Bluford in 1846, then to Bluford wife Rebecca, then Rebecca to son Bluford Kirtley Colyer on down as shown in this succession of deeds. It includes the cemetery at current hwy 769 Rush Branch Rd and Ponderosa Drive.

His birth date is given in most of the databases as 1722. ?Carmarthen is a community and the country town of Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is sited on the river Towy and lays claim to being the oldest town in Wales.? However, the Kentucky descendants have used an alias or an assumed name ?Abraham? for his middle name. The writer has a copy of a legal document written by Mary, his wife, in which she refers to her husband as John Andrew Jasper.
