Believe Catherine is the same as the Deborah mentioned in Sep 1781 land record with her mother Ann. COURT: January and April 1785, Davidson TN court records: Catherine Pruit involved in suits about the estate of her late husband William, under name Catherine Moffatt. David Hay appointed guardian of Charles Sinclair Pruit. Other guardian actions Jul 1788 and Apr 1790. (Wells, Davidson Co. Tenn. Co. Court Minutes 1783-1792; FHL film 0205435 for records themselves.) Jan 1785: Cathrine Moffat granted admn. on estate of Wm. Pruit, decd. (p. 86). April 1785: Catherine Pruit, relic of Wm.
