• Notes

  Delia Colyer of Tateville, Pulaski County, Kentucky, died at the Somerset City Hospital at the age of 85. She was a member of the Tateville Baptist Church. She was survived by her daughters, Flossie Nicholas, Helen Godsey, and Edith Strunk, all of Tateville, Fronia Jones of Spring Hill, Indiana, Eva Saser of Bedford, Indiana, and Marie Shepherd of New Lebanon, Ohio; and her sisters, Eva Vaughn of Tateville and Ellen Powell of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Lewis and Lydia (Shadoan) Lewis; and her husband, Sam Colyer (married June 16, 1899). Funeral services were held at the Tateville Baptist Church with Reverend Lonnie Meece and Reverend Robert Silvers officiating. Farris-Morris-Hislope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
