James Wilson Colyer, age 64, of Burnside, KY, departed this life on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
James was born on December 15, 1951 in Somer- set, KY to the late James Buford and Myrtle Tay- lor Colyer. He formerly worked for Burkett Block and Masonry.
He is survived by three sons,
James Michael Colyer, Robert
Lee Colyer, and Scott Cook all
of Somerset; a daughter, Renee
Aguirre of Albany; two broth-
ers, William Hershel (and
Terry) Colyer and Jerry Allen
(and Kathy) Colyer, both of
Somerset; thirteen grandchil-
dren, Noah Colyer, Mason
Colyer, Jadyn Colyer, Rielly
Colyer, Madison Cook, Logan
Cook, Brandalyn Cook, Dakota
King, Hezekiha King, Obadiah King, Mya Aguirre, Shanti Aguirre, and Maverick Aguirre; four nephews, Daniel Colyer, Edwin Colyer, John Sampson, and Chris Sampson; and two nieces, Jennifer Michelle Glover and Ressa Lawton.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Wayne Colyer.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 8, 2016 after 6:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sep- tember 9, 2016 at 11:00am at the Colyer Family Cemetery with Bro. Stanley Sears officiating. Burial will be in the Colyer Family Cemetery.
