I suspect this may be John Colyer(Collier, Colyar) born 1744 revolutionary soldier, who based on age could be son of Richard Colyar. Also note lawsuits of James Taylor who is documented as being father-in-law to John Colyer(Colyar) via marriage of John Colyar to Grizelda Taylor.

		Richard Colyer gospel minister source docs Pulaski County KY research from extracts (not found to be always accurate per 2024 searches) showing various Colyer families. This researcher has found that the Augusta County VA Colliers moved to Lincoln County KY and Garrard County KY and Madison County KY. These are not believed to be related to the Pulaski County KY Colyer(Colyar) family, who based on 2024 research are believed to have migrated from Maryland to Virginia, to TN to KY.

		1772 book on history of baptists says that in 1766 several baptists moved from Fauquier County VA to Pittsylvania County VA. Ties in to Richard Colyar and son Charles born in Fauquier County , moving to Pittsylvania County. Richard gets survey grant. This later becomes Henry County VA.
		1755 Richard Colyar and wife Rebecca sale deed Frederick County MD tract of land Token of Love. Richard and Rebecca are living by this time in Fairfax County Virginia VA. A short distance or predecessor to Fauquier County VA, where son Charles is born according to his Revolutionary War pension application.

To son William, my lands that I possess, and he shall allow his mother her living on the land. William shall be free at 18 of age to have his possession of land, and shall not make any sale of same. If he shd. die without hrs., it shall fall to grand-son Richard; 1 pt. of land was taken out of a tract called by name "Dan," the other pt. of the land called "Stubb Hill, another of 50 A. called "Elders Delite," all as I leave at my decease to son William.
