Land grant 1840 Cyrenius Waite
Land grant 1840 Cyrenius Waite
land on Whitley road (now thought to be hwy 192) between Pitman Creek and Buck Creek and borders with Collier/Colyer. 600 Acres. Based on county road orders citing Charles Colyer out current hwy192, this collier thought to be Charles Colyer. See 1781 John Colyer page where document of the 1835 Ky Legislature Act whereby 10,000 acres vacant land available for warrants sale to raise money for road from Somerset to Coal Lands. In 2023 after research, this 1835 Act thought to be for what Pulaski County Road orders called the Whitley road that other court orders reveals to be current hwy 192(See road orders 1825 etc under John Colyer that shows his former farm owner John Langdon idendified on the Whitley Road).
